The Burger Motorsports V2 billet aluminum oil filter cover is a metal upgrade that directly replaces your weak OE plastic cap for greater protection, better cooling, ease of removal/install, and looks great under the hood. The built-in 21mm hex and a 3/8″ drive socket wrench fitting that does not require a special removal/install tool like the factory cap. It uses the OE oil filter, filter housing o-ring, and filter cage. Anodized for protection. This quality part is a must for any serious BMW owner.

The new magnetic option adds a huge ~1.2″ (30mm) Samarium Cobalt magnet to capture dangerous metal shavings and particles that would otherwise circulate through your engine oil and bearings. Unlike other oil filter caps that press fit smaller magnets leaving them vulnerable to damage and displacement during engine heat cycles, our magnets are secured in their precisely machined pockets with 3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy 2216 which is able to safely withstand extreme temperatures and pressure.
